Except the gestures that are the language of our subconsciousness and is able to reveal all our inner worries, feelings, emotions and the peculiarities of our character, there are the gestures that are performed strictly consciously and contains the information recognisable for everyone, not only for those who know the language of the body. Those are the gestures the system of which was developed by people themselves.
To be more exact in our explanation we should say that those gestures are the professional gestures of the people of the certain profession. As the most known example of such gesturing the dots-and-dash language may be represented. That is the professional language of the sailors. This language was developed to make the conversation easier under condition of the noisy sea and ocean. One should realise that the dots-and-dash language we are talking about is not the language that is commonly used on vessels, but the language that is performed through signs composed by hands and ticks.
Another professional gesturing is the language of the football judge. The system of that body language is provided with a great number of signs, each of which is supplied with its peculiar meaning. The language of the football judges was developed in order to make the conversation between the judge and the players easier. It is impossible for them to communicate by means of the words under conditions of the noise and huge field. So, there are special gestures that contain the certain information to be trespassed from the judge top the player. The language of the colours is also used in the language of the football judge.
The exchange is a rather interesting organisation and the noisiest, I bet. Under the conditions of permanent and terrible noise that accompanies the every day and every second of the exchange's operating it is impossible to communicate to each other by means of oral speech, so the system of signs and gestures was developed. That system is also useful as it is rather important for the broker to keep his plans in the secret. So, every broker has the group of people, who help him to do his job. Those people have their peculiar non-verbal system of communication. That system is a system of the gestures that are recognisable only by the members of their team.
So, as you can see gesturing may be not only of the subconscious type and be uncontrolled and unrealised by people, but also be a system developed by people to make the communication more convenient and easier. Sometimes, such systems are used in order to hide from the other people the information that is of great importance.
