Gestures

The gestures – is a motion of the hands, head, or body to emphasize an idea or emotion, especially while speaking. Gestures are of great help as people are in a lack of words while trying to express their thoughts, emotions and feelings. While one is talking he or she considers every sentence and a word, before one says some words he thinks over this word in order not to hurt someone or say something wrong. The vocabulary of a person is rather broad and provided with millions of the words that help us to express anything we want to express.

According to the statistic, the average person uses for about thirteen thousands of words in its everyday communication. One may say that thirteen thousands is rather big number, but just ask yourself did you ever think that the number of the words you use during the day reaches the thirteen thousands. Sure, you never thought the number of words is so big. Indeed, it is not the enormous number if consider the fact that the average dictionary of a certain language contains about 600 000 of words. You see, we don't use even a half of the words our language provided with. So, it is common that sometimes we in a lack of words to express something that has greatly stroke our imagination.

As it happens the subconscious need to use the gestures appears and we start express our feelings through different gestures even if we don't notice that fact. Gestures are the reflection of inner feelings we have but not able to express or try to hide. So, the gestures are rather expressive silent language. One may say that it is nonsense but if he is, he will be wrong. During their entire life people are wearing masks that help them to hide the feelings and thoughts they don't want to show for other people. But, no matter what a skilful liar a person is, no one is able to manage his or her subconsciousness and to order it remain silent.

The subconsciousness is also takes its part in conversation of the people and words that are pronounced by the subconsciousness are of deeper sense and more candour than the pronounced words are. So, if you will get skilful in reading the gestures of the people you may consider yourself as the reader of peoples' souls. For example, if you are skilful at reading gestures and your friend explains you why he didn't managed to show up yesterday and touches his nose while talking, you will know for sure that he is lying and that there is another reason or an obstacle that prevented him to show up.

Just take a good look on the gestures that you friends, relatives or opponents perform during talking and you will know for sure whether he or she is worth to believe or it's better to forget all said at once. An ability to understand the meaning of the gestures will provide you with an ability to realise the hidden and candour meaning of the words you hear. You will also be able to realise the real opinion and the attitude your opponent or friend has about you if you will study the meaning of gestures that people perform.
